The Industrie 4.0 Days exhibition and conference was the first of its kind hosted in the German Centre and is on the pulse of time for Singapore’s production sector. With its Smart Industry Readiness Index®, a diagnostic tool to drive industrial transformation, Singapore Government has, in partnership with the industry, developed a structure to help SMEs and MNCs across all industries accelerate their Industry 4.0 transformation.
Several tenant companies in the German Centre offer products and services that enable this industrial transformation, usually hidden from public view. The Industrie 4.0 Days were driven by the target to make these “Hidden Champions” visible to a broader audience, an idea that found a lot of support, not only by the German Centre itself, but also their event partners: Fraunhofer Singapore, JTC Group, Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, TÜV Süd and under the auspices of the German Embassy in Singapore.
