Bring your unwanted electronics to the German Centre
Christmas Charity Drive with Engineering Good
Last year, we volunteered with Willing Hearts and supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This year, we partner with another great organization, Engineering Good! We will be collecting used electronics as part of their Digital Inclusion (DI) Programme, to reduce e-waste and close the digital divide.
But we can't do this alone! From 8 - 22 November 2022, bring your used devices* to the German Centre Singapore.
Here are some examples of electronics you can donate:
- Laptops
- SSDs
- Mobile/Wireless Phones
- Printers
- Modems
- And more!
After collecting your devices, we will hand them over to the Engineering Good team who will salvage your used electronics and components for the communities that need them. Please clear/reset your devices before passing them to us as the German Centre Singapore and Engineering Good will not be held responsible for the data in the used devices.
Engineering Good will also wipe all data and clean electronics thoroughly during the refurbishment process to ensure all devices are safe and secure for EG beneficiaries and partners.
The DI Programme by Engineering Good salvages used laptops for low-income families as part of their goal to reduce e-waste and close the digital divide. Engineering Good also works with an E-waste provider to salvage as many components as they can, so bring any and all old devices that you would like to donate to their beneficiaries and partners.
