Terms and Conditions

1. No venue has been blocked. Reservation is subject to availability upon email of payment confirmation.
2. The number of attendees and any other changes for each catered event must be communicated in writing at least 5 working days (excluding Saturday, Sundays and public holidays) prior to the event. All changes are subject to availability.
3. German Centre may in its absolute discretion, grant, refuse or withdraw its approval for use of the event venue without giving any reason.
4. Cancellation

If the client wishes to cancel the event the German Centre shall be notified at least 30 days before the event date. Cancellation must be made in writing via e-mail to German Centre.

If the German Centre is notified of above-mentioned cancellation less than:

  • 15 to 30 days 50% of total fee will be charge
  • 8 to 14 days 75% of total fee will be charge
  • 7 days or less 100% of total fee will be charge
5. Liability & Indemnity

a. The Client shall indemnify and keep indemnified German Centre in full from and against all losses and damages to the venue / equipment and all property caused directly or indirectly by the Client, its employees, contracted suppliers and/or their event/program participants and attendees. German Centre shall bill the user for any repair and rectification work.

b. The Client is responsible for any personal property brought to the German Centre, including but not limited to technical equipment and decoration.

c. German Centre shall under no circumstances be liable to make good or accept responsibility or liability arising in respect of any damage or theft or loss of any property, goods, articles or things deposited in the rooms by the Patron or any other person in one way or another connected to the Client.

d. German Centre shall not be liable for any loss due to any breakdown of machinery, failure of supply of electricity, leakage of water, fire, government restriction, act of God which may cause the facilities to be temporarily closed, hiring interrupted or cancelled.

6. Insurance

The Client agrees to obtain and maintain throughout the term of the event, insurance of such types and in such amounts as a reasonably prudent company in its industries would obtain and upon request, the Client agrees to provide German Centre with evidence of such insurance.

7. Displays/Materials/Decoration

No nails, adhesive, thumb-tacks and such like materials are allowed to be used on any part of the facilities, unless approved by German Centre. If approved, the Client shall be liable for any damage arising out of such use. Goods, equipment, furniture and such like articles should be properly handled, and the Client shall be liable for any damage to the floors or other parts of the facilities. 

8. German Centre reserves the right to make changes to the general pricing structure at any time.
