Congratulations on being our valued customer for almost 25 years! As we, the German Centre Singapore are turning 25 years, we want to say DANKESCHÖN – a big THANK YOU!
Could you please tell us more about your company - what kind of products, services or solutions do you offer as well as the type of customers you serve?
Gemü, till today, is a family owned company that serves as a market leader worldwide in the Pharmaceutical & Biotech industries. We also have a well-established market network throughout Asia.
During these 25 years, why was it important for your company to have a ‘footprint’ in Singapore and why do you choose the German Centre Singapore?
At the start, the founder of the Gemü, Mr. Flitz Muller, was looking to expand to Asian countries. The German Centre Singapore provided an opportunity for him to take the first step towards expansion in Asia.
Your company has been in the German Centre for 25 years, what are some of the advantages of being in the building?
A key advantage is being surrounded by helpful and like-minded companies, with whom we are able to exchange and share information.
Being a long serving tenant, what does your company look forward to on your future landlord-tenant relationship with the German Centre Singapore?
I’m certain that Gemü, as a long-term tenant, would like to establish with the German Centre Singapore that both German companies are committed highly towards one another, ensuring that our partnership is beneficial to both our employees and us as tenant of the German Centre.
What advice would you give to other companies who would like to set up their business in the German Centre Singapore?
The German Centre Singapore is a well-established building with first class maintenance.
Lastly, what is the best experience / memory you have of the German Centre during these 25 years?
The very well-organized fire drill practices every year. The German Centre treats all the tenants with traditional German beer and sausages. I’m sure that there is no other building doing it. An outstanding performance as well as a great chance to bond with all tenants.
